My name is Markus Green. I help people get clear on what they're actually building, and usually find a better version of it on the way. That might be a product, a business model, or just how a team works together. I've done UX, service design, marketing and a few ventures of my own, so I tend to spot things that are hard to see from inside a project. Once the direction is right, I help make it happen.
After 130+ client projects, my take is that execution is rarely the hard part. Alignment is. Deciding what the thing should be (and what to leave out), who it's for, and getting everyone to agree before the first designer opens Figma. That's the part I enjoy most, and where a wide background pays off.
I learn by doing. With AI, that went from basic prompting to a brainstorming partner, then content and e-commerce experiments. These days it's custom tools for my own problems, and data enrichment pipelines that whole websites run on, all built with Claude Code.
I've worked remotely for years and it's how I do my best work: long stretches of focus, and messages written so nobody needs a follow-up call. I do miss the in-person stuff, though. The occasional retreat, meeting colleagues properly, the things a video call can't quite replace (like finding out how tall everyone is).
I'm most drawn to companies working in mental health, wellbeing, or anywhere the work matters to the people on the other end. Native in English and German. Based in Nice, France, where my French covers bad puns but not quite a full working day. Looking for the right team to join: remote-first, with the occasional meetup very much welcome.
